The total investment of\u00a0ATOP corporation\u2019s project\u00a0phase 2\u00a0is about 400 million yuan. The project will focus on\u00a0the expansion of 100G~400G\u00a0transceiver\u00a0series\u00a0to serve 5G and data centers\u00a0better. The total area of the project is 24,598.38 \u33a1(about 6.08 acres), the total\u00a0planned construction area is 82234.46\u33a1. The project is planned to be completed in\u00a02 years.<\/p>

The latest data released by Synergy\u00a0(a market research company) shows that in the past two\u00a0years, totally\u00a0111 new super-large data centers have been built, 52 of which were built in 2020\u00a0– a year when the Covid-19\u00a0is spreading globally. Meanwhile, as of 2020, China has built 700,000 5G base stations, and plans to build 600,000 5G base stations in 2021. The market demand for 100G~400G\u00a0transceivers\u00a0will also grow rapidly\u00a0in this context.<\/p>

Data center and Ethernet have a strong momentum of development. ATOP\u2019s project will combine silicon photonic packaging technology to expand the production line of 100G~400G high-speed optical modules, and develop 5G new\u00a0infrastructure to boost\u00a0data center network expansion.<\/p>

At present, the blueprint of this project was approved, and ATOP will make every effort to promote the implementation of the project, enhance the R&D and production capacity of high-speed products, provide solutions for the construction of 5G new infrastructure, and strive to accelerate the development of optical communications.<\/p>
